Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has just held a press conference to introduce a series of events of the Festival "Essence of the Great Forest - Convergence of the Blue Sea 2025".

Accordingly, from August 29 to September 2, in Quy Nhon, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province will organize the Festival "The Quintessence of the Great Forest - The Blue Sea Convergence 2025" with the theme "The Aspiration for the Blue Sea - The Shining Great Forest". This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the event of the unification of the two provinces.
The opening ceremony took place at 8:00 p.m. on August 29 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. The art program combined the province's East-West colors, bringing together singers Quang Dung, Van Mai Huong, Y Garia... and many other artists and artisans; ending with a low-altitude fireworks display over Quy Nhon beach.
Within the framework of the festival, visitors will enjoy a series of unique cultural and tourism events: A program introducing the art of ocean tuna cuisine with 5,000 free servings; a culinary festival "Delicious dishes from Bazan land and the sea" associated with a space of coffee, gongs and OCOP products; performances of Binh Dinh martial arts, tuong, bai choi; variety shows, international music performances at the Children's Park.
The highlight is the "Colors of the Sea" Street Festival (August 31) with flower cars, carnival, street circus, with the participation of Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa. On the night of September 1, the light festival and drone performance at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square will bring a grand "party" of music and technology with the participation of Isaac, Kay Tran and international DJs.
The organizers said the festival aims to honor cultural and culinary values, the image of fishermen and farmers, and promote the brands of ocean tuna, coffee, OCOP products and craft villages of Gia Lai to domestic and international markets.
