The Vietnam futsal team took the field with the starting group consisting of Huu Phuc, Doan Phat, Anh Duy, Minh Quang and Thinh Phat. Less than a minute after the opening whistle, the first opportunity came to the Vietnam futsal team. Anh Duy's efforts created an opportunity for Minh Quang but this player missed the ball from less than 2 meters away.
