Vietnam table tennis team has new competition uniforms

On June 17, the official competition uniform of the Vietnam table tennis team in 2025 was launched.

The Vietnam Table Tennis Federation (VTTF) and Midomax Vietnam Joint Stock Company (Kamito brand) - the official uniform sponsor of the Vietnam table tennis team - officially announced this new uniform at the launching event held on the morning of June 17 at the Department of Physical Training and Sports .

At the event, Kamito announced to become the "Exclusive Costume Sponsor" of the Vietnam National Table Tennis Team. To acknowledge the brand's support and contribution to the country's sports, VTTF solemnly presented a plaque of honor and a commemorative medal to Kamito.

The new competition uniform of the Vietnamese table tennis team not only helps athletes feel comfortable and increase their confidence when competing, but also bears a strong mark of national identity, with a prominent design featuring the lotus motif - Vietnam's national flower, symbolizing pure beauty, strong will and indomitable spirit.

Accompanying that is the slogan "Vietnamese Soul Strength - Steady Steps to Reach Far", expressing the fighting spirit and national pride of the athletes when wearing the national colors.

The sponsor representative said: "During the sponsorship process for the Vietnamese table tennis team, we have provided products such as shoes, travel shirts, and backpacks. On the journey with VTTF, we will continuously provide other necessary accessories and products, so that the team has more confidence and useful products to serve the competition process."

Sharing about the plan of the Vietnamese table tennis team from now until the end of the year, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai, General Secretary of VTTF, said: "If the plan proposed to the Department is approved, the team will go to Indonesia to participate in the mixed team table tennis tournament at the end of June. In July, August and September, the team also proposed to participate in international tournaments in the Southeast Asian region. In November, the team plans to go to China to train in preparation for the 33rd SEA Games."

National team player Nguyen Anh Tu, representing the athletes, shared: "After the recent national table tennis tournament, we are practicing to maintain during this time while waiting for the national team to gather. Countries around the world are investing heavily in athletes. We will also have goals and will strive for the national flag, bringing home the SEA Games gold medal for Vietnamese table tennis."

Head coach Vu Quang Trung said that the coaching staff of the Vietnamese table tennis team is proposing to the Department of Physical Education and Sports to establish a reserve team consisting of 4 coaches, 12 male athletes, and 10 female athletes to gradually screen and select the best athletes to participate in the 33rd SEA Games through tournaments.

"Besides potential young athletes, the core of the Vietnamese table tennis team will still be familiar faces such as Dinh Anh Hoang, Nguyen Anh Tu, and Duc Tuan," said Mr. Trung.
