The 3rd Global E-Commerce Fair in Hangzhou, China in 2024
After the strong impression at the 3rd Global Trade Fair for Electronic Commerce (GDTE 2024), the Trade Promotion Agency ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) will continue to organize a Business Delegation to participate in the 4th Global Trade Fair for Electronic Commerce (GDTE 2025), taking place from September 23 to 29, 2025 in Hangzhou city, China - the leading digital technology center of the continent.
At GDTE 2024, the Vietnamese national pavilion attracted strong attention with a series of digital technology products, software solutions, e-commerce platforms and cross-border logistics services. Many Vietnamese enterprises had the opportunity to approach large Chinese and international corporations, promoting technology cooperation agreements, service exports and investment.
According to reports from Vietnamese enterprises after participating in the program, more than 70 direct trade meetings were recorded, over 90% of enterprises found trading partners, exchanged information and established cooperative relationships. Here, 95% of enterprises participating in the trade delegation proposed that the Trade Promotion Department consider organizing regular trade promotion activities, especially trade promotion delegations in China and countries in the ASEAN region, to create opportunities for long-term connection and cooperation.
It can be seen that this is an opportunity for businesses to learn, search, connect and expand their network of partners with Chinese businesses - a large and potential market in the field of digital commerce. The fair also creates conditions for businesses to access new technologies, advanced digital solutions in the fields of e-commerce, smart logistics, digital supply chain management, online payment and security. Participating in the program has helped Vietnamese businesses expand their customer network, contributing to improving competitiveness and market development.
With the goal of inheriting and expanding the results from last year, the Vietnamese national pavilion at GDTE 2025 will have a scale of about 180m², gathering 15 - 20 typical enterprises in the fields of technology and e-commerce.
Key product groups include: Information technology and digital transformation products and services; chip design and manufacturing, embedded software and industrial software solutions; electronic games and e-sports; e-commerce and service platforms; business products on e-commerce platforms; logistics services for trading products on e-commerce platforms; products applying digital technology to bioengineering and biopharmaceuticals; digital healthcare and medical technology; green energy and environmental technology; smart cars and new energy vehicles.
Participating in GDTE 2025 is not only an opportunity to promote brands, products and services to tens of thousands of international visitors and partners, but also a strategic stepping stone for Vietnamese enterprises to penetrate deeper into the global value chain through e-commerce and digital technology platforms.
