Tan Ninh Ward Youth Union pays tribute to heroic martyrs

Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the afternoon of July 12, the Youth Union - Youth Union Committee of Tan Ninh Ward organized a memorial activity and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at Chau Thanh Martyrs Cemetery (Chau Thanh Commune, Tay Ninh Province).

Union members and youth of Tan Ninh ward respectfully offer incense to commemorate heroic martyrs

In a solemn atmosphere, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Ninh Ward, Secretary of the Tan Ninh Ward Youth Union Nguyen Thi Kim Phu and more than 30 union members and young people respectfully offered incense, flowers and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.

Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Ninh Ward, Secretary of the Tan Ninh Ward Youth Union Nguyen Thi Kim Phu burned incense at the martyrs' graves.

Besides the incense offering ceremony, the members also participated in cleaning the cemetery grounds, replacing flower pots, and taking care of the martyrs' graves.

The activity contributesto educating the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” for the younger generation, arousing national pride and patriotism; at the same time promoting the pioneering and volunteering role of union members and young people in community activities./.
