Rehearsal for pilot operation of the province's shared information system

(DN) - On June 16, the Department of Science and Technology organized a pilot exercise of the two-level local government model for the province's shared information systems. Attending the exercise were Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai, Ta Quang Truong, and Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Binh Phuoc, Nguyen Thanh Phong.

The exercise took place at the command center located at the Department of Science and Technology and 5 bridge points at 5 pilot commune-level administrative units including: Phuoc Tan ward, Tan Trieu ward, Phu Lam commune, Dai Phuoc commune and Xuan Loc commune with related units of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc . The exercise was conducted through connecting the online conference system and online support groups in direct combination.

The drill content includes: operating the document management and administration system; operating the administrative procedure information system; operating the online conference system; operating the internal network (LAN) system, specialized data transmission network, etc.

This exercise is part of the plan to pilot the two-level local government model for shared information systems of Dong Nai province (new) by the Department of Science and Technology.

The purpose of the program is to ensure that the province's information technology infrastructure and shared information systems operate smoothly, continuously, effectively and efficiently for the pilot operation of the commune-level government model. At the same time, promptly detect and resolve technical and professional problems arising during the pilot operation, creating a premise for the official operation of the 2-level local government model from July 1, 2025.

Director of the Department of Science and Technology Ta Quang Truong shared that this exercise program will be deployed in 5 pilot commune-level administrative units in Dong Nai first and then expanded to pilot commune-level administrative units in Binh Phuoc. After that, the relevant units will evaluate and draw lessons to deploy to wards and communes in the area appropriately, ensuring smooth operation; creating a basis for cadres, civil servants and public employees to practice, train application skills and handle work on information systems, in order to perfect the steps and procedures in directing and operating activities.
