With a rectangular shape, paper boxes also have the ability to optimize packaging and storage, helping to reduce the number of trucks transported compared to the old generation of packaging, which is round in format, when considering the same product volume. Reducing the number of trucks means reducing logistics costs, according to calculations, by up to 60%, while reducing emissions from transportation activities.
The Son La factory is one of the company’s three agricultural processing centers, with a capacity of 52,000 tons of products per year. With an investment cost of 4 million USD (about 100 billion VND), the new line has a productivity one and a half times higher. This new line also only requires 6 people to operate, instead of 40 people as before, with a production capacity of 6-8 million boxes per year.
