Nguyen Cong Tru (1778-1858) was from Uy Vien village, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province. He was one of the most famous poets of the first half of the 19th century. In particular, his greatest achievement was reclaiming land, recruiting exiles to establish two districts: Tien Hai ( Thai Binh ) and Kim Son (Ninh Binh).
