The delegation included leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ; leaders of units, representatives of the Retirement Club and the Youth Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the provincial side, welcoming the delegation were comrades: Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Hoang Gia Long, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
The delegation offered incense at Na Nua hut, Tan Trao communal house, and the memorial site for revolutionary predecessors at the Tan Trao special national relic site in Tuyen Quang province. Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong and delegates expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, a world cultural celebrity, and revolutionary predecessors, loyal and indomitable communist soldiers who fought all their lives for national independence, national reunification, and for the freedom and happiness of the people.

The delegation visited and listened to an introduction to the Tan Trao Communal House relic - where the National Congress was held on August 16 and 17, 1945, deciding to approve the General Uprising to seize power throughout the country; approving 10 major policies of the Viet Minh; defining the National Flag and National Anthem and electing the Vietnam National Liberation Committee, the provisional government led by leader Ho Chi Minh as President.

At the historical site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Don village, Minh Thanh commune, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was headquartered from late 1947 to 1954, the delegation held an incense offering ceremony to express gratitude and commemorate the great contributions of generations of cadres through the ages. This is the first generation of diplomatic cadres after August 28, 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh signed the Decree establishing the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, founding the diplomacy of modern Vietnam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong affirmed the great significance of the August Revolution in the nation's history, as well as the outstanding contributions of the diplomatic sector to the successes of the Vietnamese revolution over the past 80 years.

He emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs historical relic site is a place that preserves historical memories, spiritual values, and pride of generations of diplomatic staff. This historical land witnessed the early stages of formation and development of Vietnamese diplomacy in its infancy, under difficult conditions, lacking in material, technical, and human resources.
