Individualizing the responsibility of individuals involved in the case at Cong Minh Green Tree Company

Regarding the investigation related to Cong Minh Green Tree Company Limited, according to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security , the investigation agency is currently requesting agencies in the appraisal council of 16 provinces and cities to conduct asset appraisals of 413 projects.

On the afternoon of December 7, at the regular Government press conference in November, answering about the progress of the investigation of major cases in recent times, especially the case related to Cong Minh Green Tree Company Limited in provinces and cities, Major General Hoang Anh Tuyen, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security, said that major cases related to Phuc Son Group and Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company are currently being actively investigated by the investigation agency and the Ministry of Public Security to promptly conclude these cases.

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuyen answered the press.

"There is no further information that can be provided immediately, so we will provide information about the progress of the case to the press at the appropriate time," said Mr. Tuyen.

Regarding the case of Cong Minh Green Tree Company Limited, according to Mr. Tuyen, this case was prosecuted on May 8, 2024 for 2 crimes: "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences"; and "Giving and receiving bribes".

“The case has been prosecuted, but the defendant has not been prosecuted. To have a basis to resolve this case, the investigation agency is currently requesting agencies in the appraisal council of 16 provinces and cities to conduct asset appraisals for 413 projects in 16 provinces and cities. Up to now, 1 province has concluded, while the remaining provinces are continuing to appraise. The investigation agency is actively coordinating with the appraisal council to provide additional information, records, and necessary documents to serve the asset appraisal work. We are trying our best to focus on the investigation to clarify, as well as individualize the responsibilities of related individuals to handle them in accordance with the provisions of the law,” Mr. Tuyen informed about the case of Cong Minh Green Tree Company Limited.
