High-performance sports have achieved some positive results. Social resources have been attracted to invest in and provide physical education and sports services.
The quality and efficiency of press agencies continue to be improved, providing timely, truthful and comprehensive information on political, economic and social life in the area.
People's access to information, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority areas, is guaranteed. Management of all types of information on the Internet is enhanced.
In the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party Committee; improve the effectiveness of state management of cultural, sports and tourism activities.
Promote administrative reform and digital transformation; proactively innovate and create, effectively implement the tasks of developing culture, sports, tourism, information, press and publishing. Contribute to building an advanced Quang Ngai culture imbued with national identity, constantly improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
By 2030, strive to have 87% of families meeting cultural standards, 85% of villages and residential groups meeting cultural standards, 100% of communes and wards having cultural houses; 100% of villages and hamlets of ethnic minorities preserving and promoting the value of traditional cultural spaces.
Prepare dossiers to propose ranking 1 special national relic, 2 national relics, 4 provincial relics.
Most villages, residential groups, residential areas, urban areas, industrial parks, export processing zones, and economic zones have at least one sports facility or one public sports and exercise facility.
For the tourism sector, by 2030, it is expected to welcome about 8 million visitors (including 500 thousand international visitors). Total revenue from tourism will reach about 8 trillion VND.
100% of communes, wards and towns have a broadcasting system applying information technology - telecommunications operating to villages, hamlets, residential groups and residential areas. 100% of people in the province, including remote areas, islands, can listen to and watch radio and television channels serving the political tasks, essential information and propaganda of the country and the province.
At the congress, the Decision on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province was announced as a grassroots party organization under the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, officially coming into operation from July 15, 2025.
