Actively contribute to the development of the province
During the 2020-2025 term, with high political determination, the Party Committee of the Border Guard of Nghe An province (now the Party Committee of the Border Guard Command) has united, overcome all difficulties, grasped the situation, focused on leadership and direction to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Party Congress. Thereby, contributing significantly to the cause of economic, cultural, social development, ensuring national defense and security of the province.
Outstanding achievements are: The Provincial Border Guard has proactively and promptly advised the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and higher levels to propose appropriate, timely and effective policies and measures to manage and protect territorial sovereignty and national border security; proactively coordinated with local Party committees, authorities and relevant forces to detect and handle situations occurring in the border and sea areas of the province, avoiding being passive or surprised; had many creative and effective ways of preventing and combating crimes in border areas.
In border diplomacy, the provincial Border Guard has closely coordinated with the border protection force of Laos to effectively carry out activities such as talks, meetings, exchanges, management, and protection of borders and border gates; combating crimes; preventing and fighting epidemics and conducting search and rescue; making an important contribution to building a peaceful and especially friendly border between Vietnam and Laos.
In the work of building a strong border area, the Provincial Border Guard has advised the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and coordinated with all levels, sectors and localities to issue and effectively implement many projects and programs on building and consolidating the grassroots political system, developing the economy - culture - society, ensuring national defense - security, helping people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty in the border area...
During the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command will focus on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; promoting democracy, solidarity and heroic unit traditions; building a comprehensively strong unit that is "Exemplary and typical", with comprehensive quality, qualifications, and combat readiness, meeting mission requirements in the new situation.
The Party Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command proactively studies, evaluates, and accurately forecasts the situation, avoiding being passive or surprised in any situation; well performs the core and specialized role in managing and protecting sovereignty and border security; comprehensively and synchronously deploys border work measures, builds a peaceful, friendly, stable, cooperative and developing border, contributing to maintaining a peaceful environment for socio-economic development of Nghe An province.
Focus on performing tasks well in the new situation

Comrade Bui Thanh An suggested: The Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee continues to thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on border building, management and protection, focusing on: Resolution No. 33 of the Politburo on "National Border Protection Strategy"; Vietnam Border Law; Directive 01 of the Government on organizing a mass movement to participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation...
Continue to improve the effectiveness of Border Defense foreign affairs; advise and coordinate to expand people-to-people diplomacy based on existing relationships; continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the forces of Laos, which shares a border with Nghe An province, bringing activities into depth; focus on improving the effectiveness of the project to help Laos, contributing to further strengthening the special solidarity and friendship with Laos.
The Party Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command continues to do well in building the all-people Border Guard; building the all-people border defense posture in the all-people national defense posture and the increasingly strong people's security posture. In addition, it is necessary to continue to promote the Border Guard models participating in building political bases, developing the economy and society, ensuring national defense and security in ethnic and religious areas in the border areas. At the same time, effectively implement programs and regulations in coordination with provincial departments, branches and sectors and border and coastal communes and wards of the province; creating the combined strength of the political system, all levels, branches and the masses in building a strong border area, firmly protecting territorial sovereignty, border security and sea areas within the assigned scope.
Leading the building of a strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; focusing on consolidating and improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and the quality of cadres and Party members; seriously and effectively implementing the policy of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission on reorganizing local military organizations and provincial Border Guards according to the new model; at the same time, paying attention to the work of protecting internal politics, material and spiritual life of cadres, soldiers and the military rear during the process of reorganizing the apparatus.
Continue to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; research and deploy more good models and effective methods, creating a strong change in awareness and actions of Party committees, Party organizations and cadres and Party members who take the lead in performing tasks, setting an example in self-cultivation, training, maintaining and promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive unit, "Exemplary and typical", a clean and strong Party organization, and successfully completing assigned political tasks.
At the Congress, delegates focused on discussing and contributing ideas to the draft documents of the Central Committee, documents of the Border Guard Party Committee and documents of the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Congress.
