Mi Hong currently lists the price at 119.7 million VND for buying, 200,000 VND higher than other businesses; 120.7 million VND for selling, 800,000 VND lower than other businesses. Phu Quy continues to list the buying price lower than other businesses, currently at 118.8 million VND/tael.
The price of gold rings at some businesses also fluctuated slightly. Bao Tin Minh Chau is trading at 116.2-119.2 million VND/tael for both buying and selling; Mi Hong is trading at 115.7-117.2 million VND/tael; SJC is listed at 115-117.5 million VND/tael; PNJ is currently priced at 115.2-118.2 million VND/tael; Phu Quy is at 115.1-118.1 million VND/tael.
The world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. on July 13 (Vietnam time) was 3,354.88 USD/ounce, unchanged from yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,290 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 106.35 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Compared to the domestic SJC gold bar price on the same day (119.5-121.5 million VND/tael), the SJC gold price is currently about 15.15 million higher than the international gold price.
