General Trinh Van Quyet burned incense to pay tribute and commemorate the late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.

At the private home of the late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu's relatives and the memorial house of General Nguyen Chi Thanh, General Trinh Van Quyet and the delegation respectfully offered incense, expressing their respect and gratitude for the sacrifices, dedication and great contributions of their predecessors to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the country and the Army.

General Trinh Van Quyet listened to the introduction of the relics and had a friendly conversation with relatives of the late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.

Before the souls of General Secretary Le Kha Phieu and General Nguyen Chi Thanh, General Trinh Van Quyet and the members of the delegation vowed to study and follow the shining example of revolutionary morality, loyalty to the country, and filial piety of the two respected predecessors; continue to strive, contribute, and build the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army to become increasingly strong, developed, and comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical", the Vietnam People's Army to be revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern, contributing to building the country to become increasingly strong and prosperous.

General Trinh Van Quyet offered incense to commemorate General Nguyen Chi Thanh, former Chief of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, and talked with the General's family members.

Talking with the relatives of the late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu and General Nguyen Chi Thanh, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, General Trinh Van Quyet hoped that the relatives of the two revolutionary predecessors would continue to follow their example, promote family traditions; strive to achieve many achievements in studying, working, and building a happy family.

General Trinh Van Quyet expressed his respect and gratitude for the companionship, support and active coordination of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association and all levels of the association and veteran members nationwide.

Visiting the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, General Trinh Van Quyet respectfully thanked the Central Committee and all levels of the Veterans Association for always accompanying and closely coordinating with the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and agencies and units throughout the army to effectively organize activities in many fields, especially in policy work, history and tradition education.

General Trinh Van Quyet presented gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

General Trinh Van Quyet hopes that in the coming time, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association will continue to pay attention to and accompany the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army in activities; actively propagate and mobilize cadres and members to well implement the viewpoints and policies of all levels on military and defense tasks; promote the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in life and activities, contributing to building a prosperous and happy family and an increasingly civilized and prosperous homeland.

On behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association, respectfully thanked the attention, coordination and support of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Politics, including General Trinh Van Quyet personally over the past years.
