Colonel Le Van Tu holds the position of Party Secretary of Coast Guard Region 3.

Colonel Le Van Tu, Political Commissar of the Regional Command, was elected as Secretary of the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 3 for the 2025-2030 term.

On June 26 and 27, in Vung Tau City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 3 Command held the 6th Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term.

During the past term, the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 3 led the unit to complete all tasks, many of which were excellently completed. The Party Committee resolutely directed the work of training, combat readiness, and the fight against crime and law violations at sea.

During the term, the unit organized 801 ships and boats to operate over 266,000 nautical miles; collected more than 9,800 sources of information; detected and handled nearly 100 cases of fishing boats violating foreign waters and more than 60 cases of security and safety violations. At the same time, 95 cases with 101 vehicles violating the law were detected and handled. The fight against drugs also achieved many outstanding results, handling 90 related cases, seizing more than 170 kg of drugs.

In his speech, Major General Tran Van Xuan, Deputy Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard, praised the efforts and comprehensive results of the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 3. The Major General requested that in the coming term, the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 3 continue to thoroughly grasp the resolutions and directives of superiors; grasp the situation, effectively handle all situations, and avoid being passive or surprised. At the same time, improve law enforcement capacity and combat readiness; build a comprehensively strong "exemplary and typical" Regional Command.

The Congress passed the Resolution of the 6th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the Coast Guard Region 3 Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 15 members; elected 25 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates to attend the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee. Colonel Le Van Tu, Political Commissar of the Region Command, was elected as Secretary of the Coast Guard Region 3 Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
