The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Vi Xuyen

On July 17, the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Vi Xuyen held the 1st Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the congress were comrade Vang Seo Con, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Giang 2 Ward. Colonel Nguyen Hoai Nam, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command directed the Congress.

During the past term, the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Vi Xuyen has promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, overcome all difficulties, and successfully completed the goals and tasks set forth in the Party Congress resolution for the 2020 - 2025 term.

Party building work is focused on the following aspects: Politics , ideology and organization; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members are enhanced. Cadres and soldiers have a strong political stance, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks well. Military and defense tasks, focusing on building and organizing the implementation of regional defense combat plans, training, defensive combat exercises, ensuring logistics and techniques in all situations are deployed closely and effectively. The overall quality, level and combat readiness of the unit are gradually improved.

Speaking at the congress, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command Nguyen Hoai Nam requested the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Vi Xuyen to focus on leading and directing the unit to coordinate with the communes in the area to grasp the political security situation, especially the security situation in the border communes. At the same time, continue to innovate and improve the quality of training and combat readiness; effectively implement military administrative reform and digital transformation. Along with that, ensure adequate and timely logistics - technical and financial work for regular and unexpected tasks; build a clean and strong Party Committee, a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical", successfully completing all assigned tasks.

In the immediate future, the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Vi Xuyen will lead and direct the unit to do a good job of preparing to receive the remains of heroic martyrs for burial at the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery, ensuring solemnity and compliance with regulations.
