Da Nang attracts 7.8 million visitors in 8 months

According to the Da Nang City Statistics Office, in the first 8 months of this year, revenue from accommodation and catering services in the area was estimated at VND18,299 billion, accounting for 20% of the total and increasing by 27.3% over the same period last year. Of which, accommodation revenue was estimated at VND6,830 billion (up 32.6%); food service revenue was estimated at VND11,469 billion (up 14.8%).

The total number of guests served by accommodation establishments in the past 8 months is estimated at 7.8 million, up 33.4% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international guests reached 2.8 million (up 30%); domestic guests are estimated at 5 million (up 35.5%).

The number of tourists traveling by tour is estimated at more than 990 thousand, up 10.4% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international visitors increased by 50.1%, domestic visitors decreased by 3.8% and Vietnamese visitors traveling abroad increased by 19.2%. Revenue from travel services is estimated at VND 5,056 billion, accounting for 5.5% of the total and up 49.3% over the same period in 2023.
