Da Nang: Thousands of people walk in response to "Moving forward with Vietnam"

More than 5,000 people responded and participated in the walking program "Moving Forward with Vietnam"

On the morning of August 16, Nhan Dan Newspaper coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to organize the launching ceremony of the national walking program "Moving Forward with Vietnam" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

Recorded at the East Sea Park ( Da Nang City), more than 5,000 people participated in the walking program "Moving forward with Vietnam" with the theme "1 billion steps into the new era". The program was organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in the Central Highlands region in coordination with Da Nang City Police and was broadcast simultaneously with 33 provinces, cities, and all communes, wards, and special zones across the country.

Delegates perform the flag-raising ceremony at East Sea Park

After broadcasting the National Flag Raising Ceremony, thousands of people in Da Nang City, including civil servants, public employees, armed forces, students and people from all walks of life, marched in unison, joining millions of hearts across the country.

Da Nang City Police distributed red flag shirts with yellow stars to people at the event.

Thousands of people wearing red shirts with yellow stars, departed from East Sea Park (Vo Nguyen Giap Street) towards Son Tra Mountain, to the intersection of Vuong Thua Vu Street and returned to the Park.

In the spirit of the whole country, the 2.5km walking journey in Da Nang City took place in a vibrant atmosphere, with steady steps and a spirit of solidarity, spreading positive energy.
