Diagnosis results showed that the patient had sepsis, severe pneumonia, and multiple organ failure.

Upon receiving the patient, the team of doctors at the Intensive Care Unit determined that this was a case of severe sepsis, with damage to multiple organs at the same time, especially cellulitis, and a risk of deep muscle abscess in the perineum, so they decided to treat the severe sepsis, aiming for Whitmore's disease.

After more than 3 weeks of active treatment, the patient's pneumonia gradually improved, breathing became more stable, the patient's sedation gradually decreased, liver and kidney function improved, until the moment the patient was extubated and breathing room air on his own.
