This is the first unit in the Mekong Delta to achieve the international standard ISO 9001:2015. Master, Doctor Pham Thanh Vu, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital shared: ISO 9001:2015 certification is not only a result but also the beginning of a journey of continuous improvement, with the core goal of bringing peace of mind and optimal treatment quality to patients.
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard on quality management systems issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The application helps the Center for Nephrology - Dialysis clearly define the responsibilities of each department in the entire dialysis process, from patient admission to post-treatment monitoring, contributing to reducing medical incidents and ensuring patient safety.
In addition, the standard also helps optimize resources, improve management efficiency and professionalism in work. With the efforts of the professional team and leaders, the Center is approaching international medical standards, becoming a prestigious address for patients with chronic kidney failure in the Mekong Delta.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Ca Mau province Pham Van Tung informed: In recent times, the health sector of Ca Mau province has made great efforts and continuously developed, achieving many achievements in taking care of people's health. Up to now, the health system from the grassroots to the provincial level has basically met the people's needs for medical examination and treatment.
In particular, Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital, Ca Mau province held a ceremony to receive ISO 9001:2015 certification on quality management in the field of Nephrology - Dialysis with modern equipment, which will create opportunities and conditions for people and patients to receive better health care, especially for patients in remote areas to access modern, fast and effective medical services; more opportunities for people in the Mekong Delta region to access quality treatment services right at home, without having to travel far.
“In the coming time, the Ca Mau health sector will continue to invest and upgrade medical facilities and equipment, thereby contributing to creating favorable conditions to meet the treatment needs of local people,” added Deputy Director of the Ca Mau Provincial Department of Health Pham Van Tung.
