Together we contribute to enhance the value of national brands

In recent years, Vietnam's national brand has grown rapidly. Accordingly, Vietnam has entered the top 100 countries with strong brands and become the country with the fastest brand growth rate in the world in the period 2019-2022. If in 2021, the value of Vietnam's national brand was 388 billion USD, in 2022, it increased to 431 billion USD and in 2024 it was 507 billion USD. The above results have helped Vietnam become an attractive investment and trade destination for foreign enterprises and corporations. Accordingly, foreign direct investment in Vietnam in the past 5 years has continuously increased. Foreign capital flows have promoted the development of our country's industry, agriculture, trade services, logistics, and exports, contributing to economic growth.

Over the past 20 years, many Vietnamese enterprises have gradually grown stronger, paying more attention to building brands for enterprises, brands for products and national brands. This is demonstrated by the fact that in 2008, Vietnam had 30 enterprises achieving national brands, and by 2024, there were 190 enterprises achieving national brands. Among them, there are enterprises with 3-5 products achieving national brands such as: Vinacafe Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company... There are enterprises that are not headquartered in Dong Nai but have factories in the province.

Enterprises in Dong Nai as well as the whole country are increasingly focusing on the story of building brands for products and businesses. Along with that is improving management, production and business capacity to meet the criteria of green production, circulation, adaptation to climate change for sustainable development. In the past 3-4 years, the world has changed rapidly, enterprises are "racing" in applying modern science and technology, innovation, digital transformation to meet the needs of consumers. Therefore, many enterprises have flexibly shifted from building brands using traditional methods to taking advantage of artificial intelligence, social networks such as Facebook, Zalo, TikTok... to promote their brands and products to many domestic and foreign consumers.

Building a successful national brand is often associated with the strong and sustainable development of enterprises. For example, Vietnam currently has strong brands that are the "leading birds" promoting the development of Vietnam's economy such as: Viettel, Thaco, Vingroup, Masan , Hoa Phat, FPT, Vietjet Air, Vinamilk, Hao Hao...

Dong Nai has more than 4 thousand newly established enterprises each year. When the province merges, the number of existing and newly established enterprises will increase. It is likely that by 2030, Dong Nai will have more than 80 thousand enterprises. Currently, the rate of enterprises achieving the Vietnam National Brand 2024 compared to the number of enterprises established in the province is less than 0.1%. In fact, there are enterprises with products eligible to register for national brand consideration but have not yet submitted documents for the Ministry of Industry and Trade to consider awarding.
