HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd.

On the morning of August 18, at HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (Dong Ninh Hoa Ward), the Board of Directors, Party Committee and Trade Union of the company solemnly held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The block of experts, engineers, and offices performed the flag salute ceremony.

More than 5,000 Korean officials, engineers, workers and experts participated in the flag-raising ceremony, singing the National Anthem and listening to the Declaration of Independence. HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is a foreign-invested enterprise (FDI).

Mr. Le Van Toan - Party Secretary, Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. affirmed: “The first time the company organized a flag-raising ceremony with all experts and workers, both Vietnamese and Korean, is a political and cultural activity of special significance, arousing patriotism, national pride and responsibility of workers, while contributing to building an increasingly strong company. Not only recalling the heroic revolutionary tradition, the flag-raising activity also opens up a new cultural feature at the company, strengthening the spirit of solidarity, encouraging workers to enthusiastically compete in production, towards successfully completing the tasks of 2025 and the following years”.
