Government Portal and Government E-newspaper won the Impressive Award at the 2025 National Press Festival

(Chinhphu.vn) - After 3 exciting days in Hanoi, on the afternoon of June 21, the 2025 National Press Festival officially closed. The Government Portal and the Government E-Newspaper won the B prize for Impressive Exhibition Booth - the most important category of the Press Festival.

According to Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi, after 3 days of exciting activities, the 2025 National Press Festival with the theme "Loyal, creative, courageous, innovative Vietnamese press for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland" chaired and organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association, under the direction of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, with close coordination of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was successfully held.

In the joy and pride of the press community nationwide on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the 2025 National Press Festival attracted nearly 130 booths displaying outstanding press products from more than 80 central and local press agencies.

"The exhibition booths were elaborately invested, diverse in form and content, showing a panoramic picture of the professional and modern development of Vietnamese journalism. The joyful and open atmosphere of exchange between journalists and people created a warm and friendly press conference, helping the public better understand journalism and the sacrifices and efforts of journalists. This is truly a great encouragement and spirit booster for Vietnamese journalists," said Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang.

Through exhibitions, displays, professional, cultural and artistic activities, the National Press Association highlighted the contributions and strong development of Vietnam's revolutionary press over the past 100 years, while promoting press products, labor achievements and creativity of journalists - members of the Vietnam Journalists Association nationwide.

One of the most prominent features of the 2025 Press Conference is the clear demonstration of the trend of digital transformation and technology application in journalism. Many agencies have brought multimedia press products, new technology applications such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality to attract readers, showing the initiative and determination of the press in keeping up with the pace of development of advanced technology in the world.

Specialized forums on artificial intelligence in journalism, digital journalism human resources, journalism economics... have attracted great attention, proving that these are issues that we are struggling with and seeking solutions to.

At the 2025 National Press Festival, the booth of the Government Electronic Information Portal and the Government Electronic Newspaper was considered one of the outstanding highlights, clearly demonstrating the role, position and development orientation of one of the key press agencies.

The exhibition booth of the Government Portal and the Government Electronic Newspaper has exploited and applied modern technology to display a variety of information products. The information displayed is carefully selected, fully and promptly reflecting the direction and management activities of the Government, the Prime Minister, major policy mechanisms, along with innovative efforts in policy information and communication.

With the contributions and innovations at the Press Conference, the Government Portal and the Government Electronic Newspaper were recognized and highly appreciated by the Organizing Committee and awarded the B Prize in the category of Impressive Exhibition Booth.

Within the framework of the 2025 National Press Festival, the Organizing Committee and the Award Council voted and decided to: Award 5 A Prizes, 7 B Prizes, 16 C Prizes, 19 Encouragement Prizes for Impressive Display Booths; Award 3 A Prizes, 3 B Prizes, 12 C Prizes for Impressive Events and Activities within the framework of the Press Festival; Award 8 A Prizes, 14 B Prizes, 20 C Prizes, 15 Encouragement Prizes for Impressive Press Products.

The Organizing Committee will also award Certificates of "Contributing to the success of the 2025 National Press Festival - Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day" to collectives, units and individuals; Certificates to entrepreneurs and businesses "Accompanying the 2025 National Press Festival - Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day".

The 2025 National Press Festival will dedicate all publications participating in the Festival to naval and border guards; demonstrating the interest and gratitude of the press and the whole society towards the forces that are day and night guarding the sea, islands and borders of the Fatherland.
