Trade Unions at all levels have shown initiative and positivity in coordinating with employers and local authorities to implement many meaningful care programs, especially during peak occasions such as Lunar New Year 2025 and Workers' Month 2025.
The highlight of the care work is the series of activities "Tet sum vay - Xuan ung Dang" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025. Under the direction of the Tien Giang Provincial Labor Federation, all levels of the Union have focused on taking care of 139,876 union members and workers, with a total budget of more than 64.6 billion VND. VND. Tens of thousands of gifts (worth about VND45 billion) and cash (VND16.8 billion) were handed directly to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. In particular, the concern was shown through the support of 516 bus tickets and the organization of 5 buses to take 225 workers home to reunite with their families.

On this occasion, 4,152 union members, workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLĐ) in difficult circumstances received subsidies, totaling 2.4 billion VND. The Provincial Federation of Labor also organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Party" in 3 industrial parks and clusters, giving more than 35,000 Tet gifts (10.6 billion VND) and handing over 9 "Union Warm Houses" (450 million VND). Party, State and National Assembly leaders also directly visited and presented gifts to union members and laborers in difficult circumstances.
After Tet, caring activities continued to be maintained. In the first 6 months of 2025, the Union at all levels visited 13,540 union members and employees (5.9 billion VND), supported and provided capital to 3,115 employees (15 billion VND), along with unsecured loan support for 2,640 workers (63.6 billion VND). The "Union Shelter" Fund has also mobilized 830 million VND and considered funding to build 35 houses with a total amount of 1.9 billion VND, providing a warm home for many union members and workers' families with difficult housing circumstances.
The protection of the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers is always a top priority. Trade Unions at all levels have proactively coordinated with competent authorities to monitor the situation of labor relations, promptly resolve difficulties and problems, and minimize labor disputes and collective work stoppages.
Along with that, the work of propagating and disseminating the law has also been promoted. In the first 6 months of 2025, 114,240/111,162 union members and workers were propagandized, disseminated, studied and thoroughly understood the Party's policies and resolutions, the State's policies and laws related to labor and trade unions.
The "Welfare for Union Members" program continues to bring many practical benefits. Since the beginning of the year, Unions at all levels have signed new cooperation agreements with 3 units and enterprises and more than 11,500 union members have used products and services, saving nearly 660 million VND.

In addition to taking care of workers' lives, trade unions at all levels also focus on improving their qualifications and professional skills. 50,578/62,014 workers and laborers at enterprises have participated in training to improve their qualifications and professional skills, reaching 81.56% of the target.
Patriotic emulation movements, especially those of "Good Labor", "Creative Labor", "Promoting Initiatives and Technical Improvement" continue to be promoted.

According to Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Le Minh Hung, with the results achieved in the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Federation of Labor has set out key directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025. Accordingly, the Union at all levels will continue to promote the work of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees; organize activities to care for the material and spiritual life; strengthen supervision of the implementation of labor laws; continue to develop union members, establish grassroots unions at qualified units and enterprises.
The tireless efforts of the Trade Unions at all levels in Tien Giang province in taking care of the lives of union members and workers show the important role of the Trade Union organization in the political system, contributing to building an increasingly strong working class, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
