On the morning of June 30, the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to announce resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on the arrangement of provincial and commune-level administrative units; ending the operation of district-level administrative units; establishing party organizations; appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Ho Chi Minh City, communes, wards, and special zones.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: General Secretary To Lam; Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo member, formerPresident ; Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Thien Nhan, former Politburo member, former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
The announcement ceremony was also attended by Party Central Committee members, former Party Central Committee members; leaders and former leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong province, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province; Secretaries of affiliated Party Committees and Secretaries of Party Committees of communes, wards, and special zones...
At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, on behalf of the Central Working Group, announced the resolutions and decisions of the Central Committee on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, establishment of Party organizations, appointment of Party Committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Ho Chi Minh City.
Including the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also decided to recognize the positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2024-2029 term, including 9 comrades. Of which:
