On July 4, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province and organize personnel work according to regulations.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province was established under Decision No. 08-QD/TU dated July 3, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee on the basis of merging and consolidating the agencies of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State of the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong.

Leaders of the People's Council - People's Committee, Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Provincial Fatherland Front attended.

Attending the announcement ceremony were comrades: Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province; Pham Thi Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; K'Mak - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ton Thien Dong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Nguyen Khac Binh - Member of the Standing Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Dinh Van Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

This is an event of special significance, marking a new step forward in the work of building, consolidating and promoting the role of the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations in the locality.

The arrangement, consolidation and merger of the Vietnam Fatherland Front agencies, socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State of the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong into one agency of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province is necessary, in order to implement the general principle: Reducing focal points, streamlining the apparatus, avoiding overlap and duplication in performing political tasks, effectively using headquarters, saving costs, restructuring, streamlining the payroll, improving the quality of the staff, contributing to reshaping the organizational model of the political system according to the Party's orientation and guidance of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

At the ceremony, delegates heard the announcement of the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on recognizing the titles of 15 members of the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term.

Accordingly, comrade Pham Thi Phuc holds the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province. The Vice Chairwomen include comrades: Pham Trieu; Bo Thi Xuan Linh; Ha Thi Hanh; Pham Van Duc; Tran Minh Quan; Nguyen Phu Nghi; Bon Yo Soan; Do Thi Que Phuong; Tran Thi Thanh Huong; Nguyen Phu Hoang, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Truong Van Tung, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Truong Minh Quang, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; H'Vi E Ban, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union; Vu Cong Tien, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans' Association.

Pursuant to the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee issued Decision No. 01/QD-MTTQ-BTT dated July 3, 2025 on the assignment of civil servants, advisory and support departments of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

At the announcement ceremony, delegates heard the announcement of the decision to recognize members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, and the introduction of 10 advisory boards to assist the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, including: Organization and Inspection Board; Democracy, supervision and social criticism board; Propaganda and social work board; Ethnic, religious and mass association board; Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; Trade Union working board; Farmers working board; Women working board; Youth and children board, Veterans board.

In his speech, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province emphasized: In recent years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has been a component of the political system, with the task of gathering, building and promoting the strength of great national unity; implementing democracy, strengthening social consensus; representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; supervising and providing social criticism; participating in Party and State building, people's foreign affairs activities to contribute to building and defending the Fatherland; creating social consensus and connecting the Party, State and people. The campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Front have gone into depth and practicality, making an important contribution to socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security, building the Party and building the political system. In particular, I acknowledge the Front's efforts in listening to the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of union members, association members and people of all walks of life; participating in social supervision and criticism, contributing to Party building and building a clean and strong government.

The decisions announced today are of special significance, marking a new step forward in the work of building, consolidating and perfecting the organization, improving the operational capacity of the Fatherland Front system from the province to the grassroots. At the same time, it also concretizes the Party and State's guidelines and policies on the Front's work, in order to meet the requirements of the new situation.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, pay attention and provide close direction to quickly stabilize the organization and assign specific and clear tasks to each individual and unit after the merger. Strengthen the spirit of internal solidarity and unity in the entire agency and unit; promote the spirit of responsibility, sharing and consensus to overcome initial difficulties and successfully complete the tasks.

Further promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation, closely following reality, listening to the opinions of the people, better performing the role of a bridge between the Party, the government and the people; continue to promote the role of the Front in gathering and uniting the people, successfully implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security; promote the role of supervision and social criticism of the Front to contribute to building the Party, building a clean and strong government, and enhancing the people's trust.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and people of all walks of life in the province to unite, be of one mind, promote patriotism and civic responsibility to actively respond to and participate in campaigns and movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels.

The Provincial Party Secretary believes that, with the attention and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the close coordination of departments, branches, localities and especially the efforts and solidarity of the collective of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, they will continue to promote the glorious tradition, excellently complete all assigned tasks, and make greater contributions to the cause of building and developing Lam Dong province to become increasingly rich and civilized.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Phuc accepted the instructions of the Provincial Party Secretary, promised to be determined with the collective of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party and the State, and hoped that the Provincial Party Committee would continue to pay more attention to the activities of the Front and mass organizations in the coming time.
