According to the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lam Dong province, in recent times, from agricultural and forestry production development projects, the province has focused on supporting people to change the structure of crops and livestock with high economic value, apply science and technology, and link production and product consumption. Models of growing high-quality coffee, macadamia, fruit trees, and raising livestock in the direction of commodities... are bringing practical results.

In particular, the project to solve the shortage of residential land, housing, production land, and domestic water has solved the most basic and urgent needs for people to stabilize their lives. In addition, the system of rural roads, irrigation, electricity, schools, and medical stations has also been invested in and built, breaking the "oasis" situation, being isolated, and low-lying areas, creating momentum for trade and development.

Thanks to the right policies, up to now, the poverty rate in the ethnic minority areas of Lam Dong province has decreased rapidly and quite sustainably. The appearance of rural and mountainous areas has improved a lot, the material and spiritual life of the people has been significantly improved. Political security, social order and safety have been maintained, and the great national unity bloc has been increasingly consolidated.

According to the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lam Dong province, in recent years, the locality has synchronously implemented many programs and policies for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. It is estimated that by the end of 2025, the multidimensional poverty rate of the whole province will decrease to 3.33%.
