On October 20, information from Binh Phuoc Provincial Police said: On October 5, Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Dung (born in 1981, permanent resident of Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, Deputy Director of Anh Khang Trading and Service Company Limited) made a money transfer from the company's account at Vietcombank to the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank.

According to Ms. Dung, she planned to transfer money to pay the company's employees. However, because she was too busy, she entered the wrong account number on her mobile phone. She transferred money twice, each time transferring 490 million VND. The total amount of money transferred by mistake was 980 million VND.

After transferring the amount of 980 million VND, Ms. Dung discovered that she had mistakenly transferred the money to the account of… an unknown person. Immediately after that, Ms. Dung contacted the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, asking for help.

The bank informed Ms. Dung of the information and account number of the customer to whom she had mistakenly transferred money. The account holder was Nguyen Van Su, born in 1970, residing in Cho Hamlet, Tan Tien Commune, Dong Phu District, Binh Phuoc Province. Despite her best efforts, Ms. Dung was still unable to contact the person named Nguyen Van Su.

Finally, Ms. Dung contacted the Tan Tien Commune Police, Dong Phu District, Binh Phuoc Province and explained the whole incident of her mistakenly transferring money to the above account.

Ms. Dung asked Tan Tien Commune Police for help to get back the mistakenly transferred money. Immediately, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Phu - Chief of Tan Tien Commune Police, along with officers and soldiers of Tan Tien Commune Police organized to verify and clarify the information Ms. Dung provided.

Lieutenant Colonel Phu contacted and met directly with Mr. Nguyen Van Su - a local gardener. Lieutenant Colonel Phu informed Mr. Su about the case of mistaken money transfer and urged him to return the money that Ms. Dung had mistakenly transferred.

Immediately, Mr. Su happily followed the instructions of Tan Tien Commune Police to go to the Military Bank branch near his residence to check his account.

After checking at the bank branch, the information in the account correctly showed that Ms. Dung had transferred the wrong money. On October 15, Mr. Su contacted and returned to Ms. Dung the entire amount of money she had mistakenly transferred, which was 980 million VND.
