After the opening whistle, the home team Pathum Utd quickly rushed to attack, creating great pressure and having a dangerous opportunity in the 5th minute when Takaki Ose finished in the penalty area but sent the ball over the bar.
Not to be outdone, Hanoi Police quickly responded. In the 11th minute, Quang Hai made a difficult cross, but Leo Artur could not finish close to the goal.
