Happy National Day

In the common joy of the whole country, every street and corner of Tay Ho ward is red with the red flag with yellow star. From Lac Long Quan, Au Co, Thuy Khue streets to Quang An, Nhat Tan..., everywhere you can see the image of the national flag.

Director of the Tay Ho Ward Culture, Information and Sports Center, Duong Van Truong, said that as of August 24, the ward had more than 15,000 national flags, thousands of meters of flags, nearly 600 clusters of red flags, many clusters of flower flags, 9 horizontal panels, 5 clusters of triangular panels and hundreds of banners decorated in a uniform manner, creating a spacious and brilliant appearance to welcome the National Day.

This synchronization not only comes from the direction of the Party Committee and the government but also from the strong response of all classes of people. Each family happily hangs flags, plants decorative flowers and actively participates in cleaning the alleys. Each flag in front of the house, each street is cleaned and decorated to convey national pride and a sense of civic responsibility.

Vice Chairman of Tay Ho Ward People's Committee Bui Tuan Duong said that the Ward People's Committee has launched large-scale environmental cleaning campaigns. Since the beginning of August, 9 working groups with the participation of functional forces, residential groups and people from all walks of life have simultaneously carried out many tasks including: Sweeping roads and sidewalks; clearing sewers; removing advertisements; taking care of flower beds and trees; collecting trash in ponds and lakes...

Thanks to the synchronous participation, many streets of Tay Ho ward have become airy and clean. Mr. Nguyen Van Thai, a resident of Thuy Khue street, expressed: "Clean streets decorated with colorful flags and flowers make me feel proud and more responsible to contribute to preserving the environment. I hope that this activity will become a regular lifestyle, raising the community awareness of Tay Ho people."

The movement “All people keep the environment clean” is considered the core content in building the urban culture of Tay Ho ward. The weekly Saturday morning campaigns have become regular activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of community responsibility, building Tay Ho ward worthy of being the cultural, service and tourism center of the capital.

Offices and schools are bright with flags and flowers to welcome the grand ceremony.

Along with the general environmental cleaning, agencies, units and schools in Tay Ho ward also simultaneously decorated brilliantly to celebrate the great festival. From the ward People's Committee headquarters, schools, community cultural houses to each household, flags, banners, flowers and ornamental plants were hung, creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful space.

Schools in Tay Ho ward also organize many extracurricular activities to learn about the history of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, helping the younger generation to be more proud of the revolutionary tradition and foster a sense of responsibility towards their homeland.

Mr. Duong Van Truong added that the Tay Ho Ward Culture, Information and Sports Center has consulted with the Ward People's Committee to prepare many practical cultural, artistic and sports activities to celebrate National Day. Thereby, spreading patriotism, pride and multiplying the aspirations of dedication of all classes of people. Art performances, such as: "Immortal Heroic Song", music and dance programs, painting competitions, art competitions, mass physical education and sports activities will be held at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden and many community activity locations.

The Ward People's Committee also coordinated with the Cai Luong Theater and the Hanoi Department of Tourism to organize an art program and the Hanoi Beverage Festival 2025 at West Lake, creating more cultural and tourism space for people and visitors.

In particular, the broadcast point for the Rally, Parade and March at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden will help people from all walks of life to directly follow the solemn atmosphere from Ba Dinh Square on September 2. This is not only an opportunity for people to relive the historical spirit together, but also a way to spread patriotism, strengthen faith in the Party's leadership, and determine to build a prosperous and happy country.

In the brilliant colors of flags and flowers, every street, office, school, house, and cultural, artistic and sports activities of Tay Ho ward have blended into a harmony of national pride and the aspiration to build the capital and the country to become increasingly rich and civilized.
