That is the message that the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in collaboration with the Embassies of Australia, Canada, the UK and the US in Vietnam wants to send on the occasion of World Day against Trafficking in Persons 2023 (July 30).

This year’s World Day Against Trafficking in Persons (WDATIP) theme is: “Reaching all victims of trafficking, leaving no one behind”. IOM has collaborated with the Embassies of Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States to produce a short film to debunk misconceptions about human trafficking and raise public awareness of the issue, as well as call for action to protect victims of trafficking.

Participating in this event was also the voice of former Miss Universe Vietnam, Top 5 Miss Universe World 2018 - H'hen Niê, one of the most influential figures in Vietnam (1.9 million followers on Facebook, 100 thousand followers on Instagram), to share the message widely to the young generation.

IOM, together with the Ambassadors of the countries and Miss H'hen Nie, want to promote the message " Humans are not goods. Each person is a gift " to call on the community to join hands and raise their voices against human trafficking, to protect and empower all victims so that they can build their lives and develop their full potential.
