Born and raised in Pho Lu town, Bao Thang district, Lao Cai province (old), after finishing 7th grade, Do Hong Ngoc and her family moved to Lao Cai city (old), now Lao Cai ward and studied at Lao Cai High School No. 1. After graduating from high school, Hong Ngoc continued to study at university in Hanoi .
In February 2024, right after graduating with a good degree, Hong Ngoc volunteered to join the army. She is currently working at the Office of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command.
After nearly two years in the army, Hong Ngoc has continuously strived, matured and been assigned many important tasks. In particular, she has had the honor of participating in national parades twice - a sacred milestone that not every soldier has the opportunity to experience - as one of the "beauties" of the Female Medical Officers' Block.

After successfully completing the A50 mission, Do Hong Ngoc was given half a month off before being entrusted by the unit to participate in the parade at the A80 Grand Ceremony. Being selected for the parade requires many strict criteria such as height, physical strength, demeanor and ability to coordinate with the team.
The intense training days start at 4:45 am and end late at night, with high intensity including long runs, frog jumps, planks, arm and leg exercises... All aimed at precision, uniformity and beauty in every step and every movement.
“The most difficult thing at A80 is the extremely harsh weather and high training intensity, but we do not back down because we understand that every step is an image of the army, of the nation, and is the pride of many generations of ancestors” - Hong Ngoc recounted.

Under the harsh sunlight of Hanoi or sudden thunderstorms, Hong Ngoc and her teammates still persevered. For her, the moment of walking under the national flag, amidst the cheers of thousands of people on both sides of the road was the most sacred and emotional experience.
"The moment I walked in unison with my teammates across the stage, amidst the applause and cheers of thousands of people on both sides of the road, I clearly felt the pride and sacredness. That became the motivation for me to continue to strive and successfully complete all the tasks entrusted to me by the Party, State and Army" - Hong Ngoc emotionally shared.

Participating in the parade, Hong Ngoc wanted to send the message to the young generation of Vietnam in general and the youth of Lao Cai in particular: “Be proud of your homeland’s traditions, live responsibly, be disciplined and constantly train yourself. Every young person today can contribute to the country, no matter what position they hold.”
Do Hong Ngoc’s story has become a strong source of inspiration for today’s young generation – those who are facing choices and future orientations. In the new era, young people like Hong Ngoc are proof of a generation of young people who live with ideals, dare to think, dare to do, dare to contribute for the flag and the longevity of the nation.
