A freestyle martial arts match between humans and humanoid robots was held as part of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2025, held in Shanghai, China.

A female visitor to the exhibition took to the stage to compete with Unitree Technology’s G1 humanoid robot. The robot is 1.32m tall, weighs 35kg and is equipped with multiple joints to help it move flexibly.

The video shows that the robot has good balance, throwing punches and kicks like a professional boxer. However, the robot's ability to recognize targets when attacking is still limited.

The £1.4 million superyacht Da Vinci caught fire on August 12 while anchored in the Mediterranean Sea, near the coast of Spain.

Plane engine scraped the runway causing sparks when landing in strong winds

A UPS (US) Boeing 747-8F cargo plane stalled while landing at Taoyuan Airport, Taiwan (China) due to the influence of storm winds.

Strong winds caused the plane to tilt to one side during landing, causing part of the wing and right engine to scrape against the runway, sparking. Fortunately, the crew was able to land the plane successfully without any further incident.

The incident occurred on August 13, causing damage to part of the plane's wing and engine number 4, but there were no casualties. The airport's runway had to be closed for a while to fix the problem.

Boy causes chaos by driving toy car on highway
