Domino Chain from Isak
The most sought-after star in the European transfer market right now is Alexander Isak, a striker currently playing for Newcastle FC.
Two weeks ago, Liverpool made a £120 million (€139 million, $162 million) offer for Isak, but Newcastle rejected it.
At that time, the "Magpies" still hoped to convince their superstar to stay with the team. Isak had skipped training and publicly wanted to leave for nearly a month. However, Newcastle's leadership was determined not to please the team's number one superstar.
But Newcastle now appear to be resigned to the fact that they will not be able to keep Isak. The St James's Park outfit spent €75m on striker Woltemate from Stuttgart the day before, with the striker seen as a replacement for Isak if he leaves.
Liverpool are reportedly preparing to return to the negotiating table with an "unrefutable offer", with the figure rumoured to be around €150m, before add-ons.
If it comes true, Isak will become the most expensive player in the transfer market this year, as well as in the history of Liverpool FC.
Not only that, this blockbuster deal also brings Newcastle a large budget. And they are likely to complete two more sensational transfers on the final day of the transfer market.
They are Strand Larsen, the striker currently playing for Wolverhampton and Davide Frattesi, the star midfielder of Inter Milan.
These two superstars are valued at around 30-35 million euros each. But Newcastle will likely have to pay much larger figures.
With Larsen, Newcastle offered a transfer fee of 60 million euros a few days ago, but was rejected by Wolverhampton. But British media said Newcastle will not give up and will soon return with a higher offer.
As for Frattesi, Inter Milan have now given the green light for the transfer, but will not accept a figure below 40 million euros.
As for Liverpool, in addition to Isak, they are likely to close the deal for centre-back Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace. The England centre-back is valued at 50 million euros, but with only 1 year left on his contract, Liverpool are trying to negotiate a reduction in the fee to 40 million euros.
Man United "panic"
The English giant that promises to be busiest on the last day of the transfer window is Man United, the team that needs to be active in both buying and selling.
The poor form at the beginning of the season has made Man United's leadership even more determined to add a high-quality central midfielder.

The most likely option for Man United at the moment is midfielder Morten Hjulmand of Sporting CP, also a student of coach Amorim. Hjulmand is "priced" by Sporting at up to 80 million euros.
To meet this huge fee, Man United is forced to finalize the sale. Currently, the "Red Devils" are entering the final negotiation stage with Napoli and Real Betis clubs to push Hojlund and Antony - the players they spent nearly 200 million euros to bring back.
Another promising "blockbuster" is Bruno Fernandes, a player who is not suitable for the tactics coach Amorim is using, and Al Hilal is asking to buy him for about 100 million euros.
If they decide to sell Bruno Fernandes, Man United will have enough budget to buy a superstar central midfielder.
Tottenham are also racing to complete the deal for Xavi Simons. Leipzig have agreed to a €70 million transfer fee and if nothing changes, Simons will complete all the procedures to move to the London team today.
Unlike other big clubs, Chelsea have already closed the deal after the transfer of Garnacho from Man United. Now, they are racing to get rid of a series of redundant superstars.
Standing out in this group are Nicolas Jackson, Nkunku, Chilwell and Disasi - a group of players with a total valuation of nearly 200 million euros on the transfer market.
A series of blockbusters with a total value of billions of dollars are waiting to "explode" on the last day of the summer transfer market.
