Candidates who won prizes at the English Champion Contest, Season 1, 2025.
The contest was organized by Sense City Ben Tre Commercial Center in collaboration with Ben Tre Provincial Youth Activity Center, Sam Foreign Language Center and An Hoi Ward Youth Union for secondary school students in the area.
Through the qualifying round with nearly 180 contestants taking place on June 21 and 22, 2025, the organizing committee selected 19 excellent contestants for the final round.
Candidates compete in the form of an eloquent presentation in English to a panel of judges. The exam is scored based on the following criteria: language ability, presentation content, eloquence, answering questions and presentation style.
As a result, Le Ngoc Minh Khue (Giao Long Secondary School) won first prize in group A (grades 6-7), Mai Ngoc Trinh (An Hiep Secondary School) won first prize in group B (grades 8-9). The organizing committee also awarded 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 7 consolation prizes to the contestants.
The contest is a healthy and useful playground, both playing and learning for students, creating a favorable environment for them to improve their English knowledge, practice their skills and gain self-confidence.
