Chairman of Quang Nam: Merging with Da Nang will have many special policies for businesses

According to Quang Nam Province Chairman Le Van Dung, the merger with Da Nang will open up new development space with much potential, helping the locality apply many specific mechanisms and policies, thereby creating new opportunities for businesses.

On the afternoon of June 26, the Quang Nam Provincial Business Association held its 3rd Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with the participation of more than 250 delegates including provincial leaders, departments and branches, and representatives of businesses and industry associations in the area.

Speaking at the congress, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung highly appreciated the association's contributions during the past term.

He emphasized that in the coming time, although businesses will face many challenges, there are also many favorable factors for development. In particular, the Politburo's issuance of Resolution 68 on the private economy is an important turning point to unleash social resources and promote business development.

In addition, Mr. Dung said that the merger of Quang Nam and Da Nang will open up new development space. “The merger with Da Nang will help Quang Nam apply many special mechanisms and policies, thereby creating new opportunities for businesses,” he affirmed.

The provincial chairman suggested that the association continue to play the role of a bridge between the government and the business community, fully conveying information and development orientations, and proactively implementing Resolution 68 in a practical manner.

He hopes the association will propose more specific solutions to improve the investment environment, creating favorable conditions for businesses to operate and develop sustainably.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Quang Nam Provincial Business Association aims to promote consulting and supporting businesses in international integration; market development, trade promotion, human resource training; At the same time, strengthen the role of policy criticism, policy advice and promoting innovation in the business community.

At the congress, Mr. Tran Quoc Bao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VN Da Thanh Group Joint Stock Company, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial Business Association for the 2025-2030 term.
