Hai Duong Chairman Trieu The Hung becomes Vice Chairman of the Committee of Culture and Education

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed Resolution No. 1112 of the National Assembly Standing Committee approving Mr. Trieu The Hung, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, as Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education.

The resolution takes effect from August 1. According to the resolution, during his tenure as Vice Chairman of the Culture andEducation Committee of the 15th National Assembly, Mr. Trieu The Hung received a position allowance coefficient of 1.3.

Mr. Trieu The Hung

Mr. Trieu The Hung (53 years old), from Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city; Associate Professor - Doctor of Cultural Studies, Bachelor of Arts and Cultural Pedagogy.

Mr. Trieu The Hung is currently Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province. He is a National Assembly delegate of Hai Duong, term XIV and XV, and a member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education.

Mr. Hung grew up as a technical officer of the Printing Enterprise of Vietnam News Agency, then worked as a newspaper designer and editor of Vietnam Sports Newspaper. After that, he became Head of Department, Deputy Head of Faculty of Cultural and Art Management, Central University of Art Education.

From 2009 to 2016, Mr. Hung was Secretary of the Committee on Culture - Education - Youth - Adolescents - Children (now the Committee on Culture and Education) of the National Assembly; Secretary of the Steering Committee on Technology and the Steering Committee on Information Technology of Party agencies, the Central Executive Committee of the Party.

Since 2016, he was elected as a delegate of the 14th National Assembly of Lam Dong province and held the position of Standing Member of the Committee on Culture - Education - Youth - Adolescents - Children (now the Committee on Culture and Education) of the National Assembly and was then appointed as Vice Chairman of this committee.

In May 2020, Mr. Trieu The Hung was mobilized and appointed by the Secretariat as Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term. From June 2021, he was elected Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee.
