According to the bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the night of July 29 to July 30, in the northern and central East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone), there will be strong southwest winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 9, waves 2.0-5.0m high, rough seas; the sea area from Quang Ngai to Ho Chi Minh City will have strong southwest winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves 2.0-4.0m high, rough seas; the sea area from Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with the possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of level 7-8.
Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 4872/BNNMT-DD dated July 29, 2025 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ; to proactively respond to strong winds, big waves and thunderstorms at sea, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense requests the People's Committees of coastal communes and wards with fishing activities, relevant departments, branches and units to implement the following contents:
Closely monitor warning bulletins and forecasts of strong winds, big waves and thunderstorms at sea; promptly notify captains and owners of vehicles and vessels operating at sea to proactively avoid entering the above-mentioned dangerous areas and have appropriate production plans to ensure safety of people and property; maintain communication to promptly handle any bad situations that may occur.
Prepare forces and means to deploy rescue work when there is a situation.
Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio - Television Station, Thanh Hoa Coastal Information Station and grassroots information systems increase information on weather developments and natural disasters to authorities at all levels, owners of vehicles operating at sea and people to proactively prevent and respond.
The provincial Hydrometeorological Station closely monitors, forecasts, warns, and promptly informs about weather and natural disaster developments to proactively deploy response measures.
Organize on-duty seriously, regularly report to the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Civil Defense, Incident Response, Natural Disasters and Search and Rescue.
