At the time of inspection, the ship was transporting about 10,000 liters of DO oil but could not present documents proving its legal origin. According to the captain's declaration, the oil was purchased from a ship with an unknown registration number and brought to the mainland for consumption.

A ship carrying 10,000 liters of DO oil of unknown origin was seized by Coast Guard Region 1 on July 8, 2025.

Then, on July 3, in the sea near Tran Island ( Quang Ninh ), the working group of Coast Guard Region 1 coordinated with Tran Island Border Guard Station to conduct an inspection and discovered 2 fishing vessels illegally storing electric shock tools for seafood exploitation. Those were fishing vessel QN-0771-TS and fishing vessel QN-90440-TS, captained and owned by fisherman Vu Dinh Doan, 46 years old, and fisherman Dang Van Vu, 32 years old (both residing in Hiep Hoa ward, Quang Ninh province).
