Admire the special international dance performances in Hue

Many special plays with unique scenes were performed during the 4 nights of the International Dance Festival taking place in Thua Thien Hue .
The 2024 International Dance Festival offers many unique and diverse dance performances such as dance drama, traditional dance, folk dance, contemporary dance... In the photo is the performance "Dance of the Great Forest" by the Dak Nong troupe.
With the message "Convergence, Creativity - Shine Together", the 2024 International Dance Festival brings together nearly 500 artists and actors from 17 art troupes from 9 countries including: United Arab Emirates, Laos, Philippines, China, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia and host country Vietnam. With the play "Tan Thoi", Thang Long Song and Dance Troupe wants to convey the message of saving the art of Tuong which is being lost over time.
Vietnam National Opera and Ballet presents the play "Fish Watching the Moon", depicting the image of a full moon night.
The Ha Giang troupe performed the contemporary folk dance "The Mask". The event showed that international troupes have invested in choreography. Vietnamese art troupes have also achieved remarkable success through their performances and independent dance works.
The works focus on themes and folk dance materials of different ethnic groups and regions, subtly combined with modern dance, affirming the creativity and talent of the generation of young choreographers and dancers. A scene from the performance "Nang May" by the Vietnam Dance Academy.
Guangxi Art Troupe (China) with the performance "Embroidery Time"
With the performance "Jagad Jiwa", the Indonesian group impressed with the combination of dance, light and sound.
The Philippine troupe featured famous dancers such as Yvanne D. Escalante; Jhan Kurtte C.... performing the fun show "Philippinas"
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 Gold Medals and 10 Silver Medals to high-quality performances. Of which, 5 Gold Medals were awarded to the performances: "Hoa tinh nhan gian" by the Military University of Culture and Arts; "The Harvest" by the Art Troupe of the Lao People's Democratic Republic; Contemporary dance "Jagad Jiwa" by the Art Troupe of the Republic of Indonesia; "Nang May" by the Vietnam Dance Academy; and "Scene 6: Ly Ngu Vang Nguyet" by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.
