Blocking the road to 'threaten' a taxi driver, a bus driver was fined 500,000 VND

On the evening of January 16, informing VTC News reporters, the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Thai Binh Province Police said that on the same afternoon, the driver of the passenger bus with license plate 29B - 413.38 running on the Hanoi - Thai Binh route, who blocked a taxi on National Highway 39 (through Hung Ha district, Thai Binh) to "threaten" and curse to compete for customers, came to work with the unit.

The driver's identity is Nguyen Huu Anh (born in 1986, in Bong Thon village, Hoa Binh commune, Hung Ha district).

According to driver Nguyen Huu Anh, the incident happened at around 11:32 a.m. on January 14, on National Highway 39 (through Hung Ha district), the taxi in front picked up a passenger who was waiting on the side of the road.

At this moment, Nguyen Huu Anh, driving the passenger bus with license plate 29B - 413.38 behind, discovered the incident and drove ahead of the taxi, then turned around in the middle of the road and stopped to block the way. Driver Anh got out of the car and had some words to "warn" the taxi driver. After that, driver Nguyen Huu Anh drove away.

According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Thai Binh Province, due to insufficient elements for criminal prosecution, the unit has drawn up a record to fine driver Nguyen Huu Anh 500,000 VND and temporarily confiscated his driver's license for stopping the vehicle in violation of regulations. This driver also signed a commitment not to repeat similar acts as above.

A bus driver who blocked the middle of the road to "threaten" and curse at his "rival" to steal passengers on Highway 39 (through Hung Ha district, Thai Binh) was fined 500,000 VND.

Previously, according to camera images, the passenger bus with license plate 29B - 413.38 running on the Hanoi - Thai Binh route overtook a taxi, then turned around in the middle of the road and stopped to block it.

The driver of the bus with license plate 29B-41338 got out, approached the taxi driver and pointed at him, asking: "Did you just invite my guest?", "Which guest is yours?", the taxi driver behind replied.

During the argument and similar questions, the driver of the passenger bus with license plate 29B-41338 used words that were meant to "threaten" and curse the taxi driver.

After the clip was shared on social media, many people expressed outrage and condemned the behavior of the Hanoi-licensed bus driver in unfair competition, "threatening" his opponent to compete for customers.
