(CT) - Implementing the emulation movement "The Military Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings", in the period of 2020-2025, the armed forces of Military Region 9 launched the planting of over 746,000 scattered trees and 1,524 hectares of forest, reaching 133.5% of the plan.

Agencies and units in the armed forces of Military Region 9 effectively implement the production increase model in a fundamental, long-term, unified, and regular manner; diversify crops and livestock, focusing on plants and animals with high economic value; deploy the construction of concentrated production increase zones, pilot models of Project QN-21... Every year, the profit value from production increase and income-generating activities reaches an average of over 1.5 million VND/person. Production increase products put into meals are 5%-20% cheaper than the market price, contributing to improving the quality of life of officers and soldiers.

Typical units in the production increase work are the 29th Information Brigade, the 330th Division, the 8th Division, the Military School of Military Region 9, the Can Tho City Military Command, the An Giang Provincial Military Command, etc.
