Sao Vang Rubber Joint Stock Company (stock code: SRC) has just been fined by the Hanoi Tax Department for administrative violations of tax.

According to the penalty decision, Sao Vang Rubber declared incorrect taxes, reducing the amount of value added tax (VAT) payable in 2023, reducing the amount of corporate income tax (CIT) payable in 2022 and 2023, and reducing the amount of personal income tax payable in 2023.

In addition, the Company declared incorrect taxes, increasing the amount of VAT deductible in December 2022 and December 2023.

Thus, the total amount of fines, tax arrears and late payment fees that Sao Vang Rubber was fined and collected was more than 1.37 billion VND.

Sao Vang Rubber Company is a leading enterprise in the Vietnamese rubber industry. According to the company's financial report, in 2023, net revenue and pre-tax profit reached nearly VND 1,198 billion and more than VND 39 billion, respectively, up 31% and 2% over the previous year. Compared to the plan, the company has only achieved 60% of revenue and 39% of after-tax profit.
