Cao Bang: Improving skills and knowledge to develop sustainable community tourism

Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just organized a training course on knowledge about developing community tourism and sustainable tourism in 2025 for 44 trainees who are cultural officers of communes and households operating tourism businesses in the communes of Trung Khanh, Doai Duong, Dam Thuy and Dinh Phong.

The training course had the participation of 44 trainees who are cultural officers of communes and households operating tourism businesses in the communes of Trung Khanh, Doai Duong, Dam Thuy and Dinh Phong.

The training course was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang to improve the capacity and skills of tourism for those participating in and directly serving tourism activities. Thereby, contributing to building the image of the destination and promoting tourism development in Cao Bang province.

Accordingly, students were introduced to topics on management skills, planning and organizing community tourism development, overview of tourism and development trends; developing green and sustainable tourism; legal regulations on tourism; application of information technology in tourism activities; practice of guiding, communicating and serving tourist skills.

In particular, focusing on propaganda and promotion to attract tourists, thereby raising awareness of community tourism, agricultural and rural tourism, protecting tourism resources and environment, combining with improving historical and cultural knowledge about tourist destinations in Cao Bang.

At the end of the training, trainees will master the knowledge, skills, and experience in managing, exploiting, and operating community tourism services, agricultural and rural tourism, and effectively exploiting indigenous resources, contributing to promoting the image of professional, friendly tourism in Cao Bang, associated with sustainable development.
