Green thinking is needed for sustainable development

When the goal of sustainable development is inevitable, enterprises need to change their mindset and build their own green development strategy to integrate. In addition, to support enterprises in transformation, the vision, thinking, and legal framework for development policies also need to be improved.

Green development efforts

Multi-pronged approach to transformation

In Vietnam in general and in Dong Nai in particular, small and medium enterprises make up the majority, so how to effectively participate in the sustainable race is extremely important. Experts say that in order for the green transformation of enterprises to take place effectively and substantially, it is necessary to urgently implement the national strategy on green growth; perfect the legal framework and mobilize resources for green credit; credit institutions increase lending capital for innovative enterprises, small and medium enterprises. Effectively implement credit guarantee funds so that small and medium enterprises can access and serve their green development goals.

Investing in modern machinery and technology is the solution for sustainable business development.

On the part of enterprises, it is necessary to proactively practice green governance, aiming to create products that have an impact on society as well as the environment. In addition to efforts to access green financial capital from domestic and international financial institutions, business owners also need to flexibly innovate their thinking and proactively seek green financial sources in the market. For example, wood production and processing is an industry with natural materials, so the requirement for sustainable development is a top priority, especially in serving the high standards of the export market.

Dowa is making efforts to connect and cooperate between organizations, forest growers and manufacturers, enterprises to create a closed chain from forest planting to production and product consumption. At the same time, Dowa also cooperates with international corporations, enterprises, and organizations to approach and apply green development programs in the production of association members.
