Can Tho connects durian consumption in Hai Phong

On the morning of June 11, at Aeon Mall Le Chan Commercial Center, the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho City coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Phong City to organize the Durian Consumption Connection Festival.

The program aims to create a bridge and support the consumption of Ri6 durian products, a specialty of Phong Dien district and neighboring areas in Can Tho city, which is in harvest season, while expanding the consumption market in the northern region, bringing western specialties closer to Hai Phong consumers, ensuring quality and reasonable prices.

Notably, within the framework of the festival, for the first time Can Tho city transported 2 tons of separated, boxed durian by air to Hai Phong for distribution to supermarkets and retail stores in the area.

The direct distributor in Hai Phong is Duong Minh Import-Export Joint Stock Company, introduced by the Department of Industry and Trade of Can Tho.

In recent times, trade promotion activities between the two cities have achieved many positive results. The Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade has organized working delegations and trade connection conferences in Can Tho, establishing cooperative relations between businesses of the two cities and southern provinces and cities.
