On January 2, District 1 Police organized a surprise reward ceremony for Mr. Ha Huu Vinh (a technology car driver) who was beaten by a couple on Le Duan Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.

According to District 1 Police, at around 11:30 p.m. on December 31, Mr. TAP was driving a motorbike with his wife, Ms. HNL, on Le Duan Street, District 1. When he arrived at 2B Le Duan, Ben Nghe Ward, Mr. P. saw a traffic jam ahead, so he intended to turn around and go another way.
At this time, Nguyen Van Dung (born in 1969) drove a motorbike carrying Bui Thi Ngoc Anh (born in 1971) from behind, prevented Mr. P. from turning the car and insulted him. A conflict arose, Dung rushed in to beat Mr. P. and his wife. At this time, preparing for the new year, there were many people and vehicles, causing traffic jams.
At that time, Mr. Ha Huu Vinh, who was driving a passenger, saw the injustice and came to stop it. However, the male driver was beaten up by Dung and Ngoc Anh.
Authorities believe that Mr. Vinh, with his brave spirit and fearless of danger, came to stop the couple from violating the law. This is a beautiful act of a citizen that needs to be spread in society, so the District Police promptly proposed that the People's Committee of District 1 award a certificate of merit to Mr. Vinh.
Regarding this incident, on January 1, the Investigation Police Agency of District 1 Police urgently arrested Nguyen Van Dung and Bui Thi Ngoc Anh to investigate and clarify the act of Disturbing public order.
