Ho Bridge is closed for 60 days. Which way can vehicles go from Hai Duong to Bac Ninh?

The Vietnam Road Administration has just agreed in principle on the traffic organization and diversion plan to serve the construction and repair of Ho Bridge at Km12+963 on National Highway 38 as proposed by Project Management Board 3 within 60 days.

Previously, Project Management Board 3 proposed closing Ho Bridge for 60 days for repairs.

Vehicles traveling on National Highway 38 from Bac Ninh city to Ho bridge will be diverted at 2 remote points. At the intersection of National Highway 38 and Provincial Road 287, route Km8+400, vehicles enter Provincial Road 278. At the intersection Km11+400, vehicles enter the old National Highway 38 and the on-site diverting point: at the intersection of National Highway 38 and Provincial Road 279, route Km12+243, vehicles enter Provincial Road 279 to cross Kinh Duong Vuong bridge.

Traffic on National Highway 38 from Hai Duong to Ho Bridge is divided at 2 remote diversion points. At the intersection of National Highway 38 and National Highway 17, route Km16+600, vehicles enter National Highway 17. At the intersection Km15+200, vehicles enter the North Canal Road and the on-site diversion point: at the intersection of National Highway 38 and Provincial Road 280, route Km13+430, vehicles enter D20 Road to cross Kinh Duong Vuong Bridge.

It is known that Project Management Board 3 was assigned by the Department of Roads to manage the project of repairing 6 bridges on National Highway 38, the section connecting National Highway 1 and National Highway 5 through Bac Ninh and Hai Duong provinces.

The Ho Bridge repair project is expected to start at the end of November and the repair time is 60 days.
