Ca Mau: Tree uprooted, crushed 2 pedestrians

At around 7:00 a.m. on August 15, due to heavy rain and strong winds, a tree on Tran Hung Dao Street (Tan Thanh Ward, Ca Mau Province) suddenly fell, hitting Mr. PTC (born in 1984) and Ms. VTX (born in 1986, Mr. C.'s wife) while they were driving a motorbike through this area.

The incident occurred, traffic through this area was temporarily cut off. When the incident was discovered, people quickly took Mr. C. and his wife out of the area where the tree fell and both were taken to the emergency room at Ca Mau General Hospital.

Upon receiving the news, Tan Thanh Ward Police quickly arrived at the scene and, together with the authorities, cleared the fallen tree and fixed the problem. Traffic through the area was then cleared again.

At noon of the same day, leaders of Tan Thanh Ward People's Committee went to Ca Mau General Hospital to visit and support treatment costs for Mr. C and his wife.

According to information from Ca Mau General Hospital, Ms. X. suffered quite serious leg injuries and is receiving intensive treatment, while Mr. C. suffered minor injuries and is in stable health.
