Forced to destroy nearly 400 boxes of functional foods of unknown origin

Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) and Market Management Team No. 7 (Provincial Market Management Department) have just coordinated to administratively fine and force a driver to destroy 360 boxes of functional foods and products of unknown origin, potentially harmful to human health.

360 boxes of functional foods and 60 kg of medicinal herbs of unknown origin were transported by a disguised driver on a passenger bus.

Previously, at 2:30 p.m. on June 9, 2025, at Km70, National Highway 18 in Mao Khe Ward, Dong Trieu City, during a patrol and control, Task Force No. 1 of the Road Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) discovered a passenger car with license plate 29F-030.01 driven by Mr. Ng.MH, residing in Zone 5, Ka Long Ward, Mong Cai City, in the direction of Uong Bi - Dong Trieu carrying 360 boxes of functional foods and 60 kg of medicinal herbs. At the time of inspection, the driver could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the above goods. The Task Force prepared a file and handed it over to Market Management Team No. 7, Dong Trieu, Quang Ninh for handling according to regulations.
